Are you ready to put your sharp admin and project coordination skills to work in a role that truly makes a difference?
We’re looking for someone who’s not just organised and efficient but also deeply compassionate. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for local authorities, helping to match children and adults with the right placements across our residential and supported living homes. You’ll play a key part in ensuring they’re welcomed into environments where they can thrive, heal, and feel safe.
You’ll be managing referrals, both external and internal, and liaising with professionals who are counting on your clarity, responsiveness, and support. Some of the information you’ll be exposed to may be emotionally challenging, as it reflects the real-life traumas they have faced. That’s why resilience, empathy, and a genuine passion for improving lives are essential.
You won’t just be the first point of contact, you’ll be the central cog in the wheel, keeping everything moving smoothly through the referral process with your confident communication, sharp administrative skills, and data-savvy mindset.
A day in the life of a Referrals & Contract Coordinator will involve:
- You’ll be the go-to person for monitoring referral portals and inboxes daily, ensuring timely responses and updates for both Children’s and Adult Services.
- Regularly connect with placing local authorities through weekly updates and online catchups, keeping them informed about vacancies and placement opportunities.
- Work closely with the Referrals & Contracts Manager to process, file, and audit contracts, making sure everything is accurate and up to date.
- Step in when Team Members are unavailable, handling enquiries, internal forms, and maintaining seamless communication across teams.
- Share ideal placement profiles with local authorities, support marketing efforts when needed, and forward promising referral leads to the Manager.
To be a successful Referrals & Contracts Coordinator, you’ll need:
- Solid experience in administration is essential, along with confident use of tools like Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
- You’ll need to be comfortable juggling multiple tasks and working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, think quick thinking and solid time management.
- Great Communication and Relationship-Building Skills: This role requires outstanding verbal and written communication abilities. You should enjoy working with people, be team-oriented, and capable of building strong positive relationships with Team Members and external partners.
- You’ll need to be self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently but also collaborate effectively with others to keep things moving forward.
- A genuine desire to support children and young people in care, and to help deliver positive outcomes, will keep you grounded and inspired in the work you do
In return for your time, you’ll get:
- Holidays – You’ll get 28 days annual leave, including public holidays. You’ll also get an extra day off on your birthday after a year!
- Pension scheme– Our pension scheme is based on you paying in 5%, and us adding 3%.
