You’ll play a key role in shaping the learning experience for team members across our Education and Care settings, designing and delivering high-quality training that builds confidence, capability, and consistency. A day in the life of a Trainer will involve:
- Work collaboratively within the in-house training team to design and deliver inclusive and engaging sessions across key topics such as PRICE (Physical Intervention Reduction), Safeguarding, Professional Boundaries, Medication, and more ensuring content is practical, relevant, and high quality.
- Continuously evaluate and improve training delivery using feedback, observations, and learning frameworks to ensure a consistently high standard of learning experience.
- Partner with the Learning & Training Manager to develop and shape training programmes that align with organisational goals and workforce needs.
- Support the delivery of inclusive, engaging, and impactful learning.
- Provide flexible support to wider People Services and Operational teams, including coordinating training logistics, liaising with providers, and maintaining accurate training records.
To be a successful Trainer you’ll need:
- Proven experience delivering in-house training across the Care and/or Education sector, including specialist subject areas and a recognised training qualification (e.g. PRICE Train the Trainer).
- Strong ability to evaluate training impact, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement and enhance learning outcomes.
- Knowledgeable in equality, diversity, health & safety, wellbeing, and risk assessment, with a clear commitment to inclusive practice.
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation, IT, and organisational skills; experienced in using Microsoft Office and learning management systems (LMS).
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and approachable, with a passion for high-quality service delivery; holds a full driving licence and is willing to travel, including overnight stays when required.
